Essential Peptide Perfection Peel

If you've been told peels aren't for your skin — this is the one that is.

A 15% AHA blend carried on six peptides. Mandelic, malic and lactic acids at 5% each, paired with copper tripeptide-1, acetyl hexapeptide-8 and four more. Mandelic is the fourth-smallest AHA, which means it penetrates slowly and irritates less. That's why this is the only peel in our line cleared for rosacea.

One thing to expect

Most clients see no visible peeling from this treatment. That's normal and it's not a sign it didn't work — the activity is happening inside the skin, not on the surface. Your skin is renewing whether or not you can see it flake.

How it works in a series

6 to 8 treatments, two weeks apart. We start at 3 to 7 minutes of exposure and add 1 to 2 minutes each visit, up to a 15-minute ceiling. Once you're comfortable at 15 minutes, we progress you to our corrective depth.

Then monthly maintenance holds it.

If you're also having Aerolase, it can be performed in the same session as your peel. Dermapen 4 we alternate 14 to 21 days from your peels.

What to expect

During: possible redness and tingling.
After: little to no downtime, minimal flaking or dryness.

Good to know

Safe year round. Not performed within 14 days of Botox or filler. Stop prescription Retin-A 7 days before and avoid it for 7 days after. Stop non-prescription retinol and AHA/BHA 3 to 5 days before.
