Why your skin keeps sliding back to where it started
You book a facial when your skin gets bad enough to bother you. It looks wonderful for about 10 days. By week 5 you’re back where you were, so you book another one when it gets bad enough again.
Your calendar fills with rescue appointments. Nothing carries over from one to the next, because nothing was planned to. A facial you book after your skin goes wrong will always be catching up to it.
The expensive version of this is the corrective one. You commit to a peel series or a run of laser, your skin changes, then you leave it alone for 4 months because the hard part is finished. It drifts. Next spring you pay for correction a second time on skin you already fixed once.

The mechanism
One pass, 3 jobs
The handpiece works under a controlled vacuum, so cleansing, resurfacing and serum delivery happen in one continuous pass across your face. Nothing gets pressed, pinched or forced. That’s why it suits reactive skin and why you can book it the day before a wedding.
A spiral tip lifts dead surface cells and the film of product, sunscreen and city air sitting on top of them. This is the layer that flattens your glow and blocks whatever you put on at night from going anywhere.
It runs at a fixed depth every time, which is the part a pair of hands can’t promise you.
Dullness. Rough texture. Product that sits on top of your skin instead of sinking in.
The same handpiece draws oil and debris up and out of the pore with gentle suction. Nothing presses on your face. Most people describe it as cool and a bit ticklish, and plenty of them fall asleep.
Because the vacuum does the work, we can run it on skin that flares at the smallest provocation.

Hydrating and corrective serum goes straight in through the same tip, into skin that has been cleared and can take it. At Deluxe and Platinum we add a targeted booster chosen for what your skin is doing that week, then LED to drive it in and settle inflammation on the way out.
The boosters belong to HydraFacial and stay there. They’re a separate system from The Glow Lab Peel Series and we never swap one for the other.

Your skin turns over on a cycle of about 4 to 6 weeks. Treat inside that window and you clear buildup before it becomes a problem, so your barrier stays hydrated and your skin stays responsive to whatever corrective work comes next. Wait 3 months and you’re clearing a backlog again. Same treatment, half the value, because the timing did the work and the timing was wrong.

A HydraFacial never shares a visit with a Glow Lab peel. 2 resurfacing treatments stacked into one session pushes a barrier past what it can handle, and an inflamed barrier undoes the thing you booked both for. We book them on separate days and space them for you.

Express, Deluxe or Platinum comes out of your assessment, your history and what your skin is doing that week. The comparator above shows you the whole line so you can see where you’d land, and we confirm it in the room.
4 to 6 weeks, matched to your renewal cycle.
That spacing tracks how fast your skin turns over. Acne-prone skin and skin carrying a lot of buildup runs tighter at the start of a plan while we stabilize it, then settles into the same rhythm.
The boosters belong to HydraFacial, and they stay there.
The booster serums are HydraFacial’s own line. We choose one for brightening, calming, clarifying or plumping based on your skin that day. The Glow Lab Peel Series is a separate GlyMed Plus system with its own depths and gating, and the two never substitute for each other.
Aerolase runs in the same visit.
Deluxe pairs with Aerolase Skin Rejuvenation in one 90 minute appointment at $399. Your skin gets cleared and hydrated first, then the laser works on tone, redness and pigment on prepped skin. Fewer trips to Willoughby, more out of each one.

Does it hurt, and will I need to hide afterward?
Most people describe it as cool and refreshing with a light tugging sensation, and nobody needs numbing. There’s no downtime at all. You might look a bit flushed walking out and that settles within the hour. Pat Orr, who has sensitive skin, put the pain level at minimal with virtually no down time.
How is this different from a facial at a spa?
2 things. The device is medical grade, so what happens to your face stays controlled and repeatable instead of depending on who is working that day. And we don’t sell it as a standalone. It sits in the maintain phase of your plan, at a tier and a spacing we set, which is the part that makes it compound.
Which tier should I book?
You don’t have to work that out. Book the skin assessment and we place you. The short version sits in the comparator at the top of this page: Express is the 30 minute monthly reset, Deluxe adds a booster and LED and is what most plan clients run on, and Platinum opens with lymphatic drainage for puffiness and events. You leave the assessment knowing your tier, your spacing and what a year of it costs.
How often do I need one?
Every 4 to 6 weeks. That tracks your skin’s renewal cycle, so we clear buildup before it turns into a problem and keep your barrier hydrated between corrective treatments. Acne-prone skin and skin carrying a lot of buildup sometimes runs tighter at the start of a plan while we stabilize it, then settles into the same rhythm.
Can I have a HydraFacial and a peel in the same visit?
No, and this one we hold. Every HydraFacial here gets its own appointment, separate from The Glow Lab Peel Series. Stacking 2 resurfacing treatments into one session pushes a barrier further than it needs to go, and an inflamed barrier undoes the thing you booked both for. Tell us what else is on your plan and we’ll sequence the calendar with you.
Are the HydraFacial boosters the same as your peels?
They’re a different system. The boosters are HydraFacial’s own serum line, delivered through the device, and we pick one for brightening, calming, clarifying or plumping based on what your skin needs that day. The Glow Lab Peel Series is our GlyMed Plus protocol line with its own depths, gating and prep rules. We keep them apart on purpose and we never substitute one for the other.
I break out. Will this help or make it worse?
It helps. Clearing oil and buildup from the pore while calming and hydrating ingredients go in is a useful step in an acne plan, which is why HydraFacial sits alongside the Clear Skin Plan™. What it won’t do on its own is regulate the oil or clear the marks left behind. Those need Aerolase and the peel work, and your assessment maps the whole thing rather than one piece of it.
I’m pregnant or nursing. Can I book?
Yes. HydraFacial suits close to every skin type, sensitive skin and pregnant clients included, and it’s one of the few clinical treatments that stays open to you through all of it. Tell us at booking so we choose the booster with that in mind.
What does a year of this cost, and is a membership cheaper?
Monthly Express at $215 comes to $2,580 across a year. Society Essential is $159 a month, or $1,590 paid up front for the year, and your monthly credit covers a HydraFacial Express or a GlyMed peel or dermaplaning with LED, your pick each month. Deluxe at $269 comes to $3,228 a year against Society Signature at $249 a month, which also opens up Aerolase and microneedling. If you want 6 visits across the year rather than 12, 6 Deluxes at the $269 session price comes to $1,614. We run your numbers at the assessment before you commit to any of it.
