Essential 30% Glycolic & Lactic Peel

Please read before booking — this peel has prerequisites.

You'll need 1 to 3 very superficial peels completed first, plus active home care for a minimum of 2 weeks (Fitzpatrick I–III) or 2 to 4 weeks (Fitzpatrick IV–VI). This isn't a formality. Unprepared skin at this depth is how post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation happens — the exact thing most people are booking a peel to fix.

Our corrective depth. 15% glycolic acid for speed, 15% lactic acid for tolerance — blended deliberately, because glycolic alone irritates and lactic alone is slow. Together you get more efficacy with less reactivity.

What it does

• Aging, photo-damage and loss of firmness
• Hyperpigmentation including sun damage, melasma and post-acne marks
• Acne, particularly comedones and non-inflammatory grades
• Dehydration and dull complexion

Lactic acid above 5% is a natural tyrosinase inhibitor, which is why this depth belongs in pigment work specifically.

Who it isn't for

Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Physician consent covers AHA peels under 30% — this is not one of them.

Season matters here

Year round if you're strict with SPF and spend most of your time indoors. If you're outdoors often or inconsistent with sunscreen, we'll book you in fall or winter. Sun exposure after this depth undoes the work.

How it works in a series

6 to 8 treatments, two weeks apart. We start at 3 to 5 minutes of exposure and add 1 to 2 minutes each visit, to a 15-minute ceiling. Then monthly maintenance.

If you're also having Aerolase, it can be performed in the same session as your peel. Dermapen 4 we alternate 14 to 21 days from your peels.

What to expect

During: redness, possible prickling and itching.
After: redness, little to no downtime, minimal flaking or dryness.
