The Glow Lab
EM Contour Series of 4
EM Contour Series of 4
Founding rate. 10 places only. $325 a session instead of $375, so $1,300 for the course.
EM Contour builds muscle in one area using a focused electromagnetic field. No heat, nothing goes through your skin, and you spend the whole appointment lying down.
4 sessions of 40 minutes, twice a week, done inside 2 weeks. Abs, glutes or thighs.
Screening happens at the start of your first appointment and it rules some people out. Read Best For before you buy. Prices are in Canadian dollars.

EM Contour builds and tones muscle in the area we treat. It does not reduce fat, and there is no radiofrequency in this device.
This is for you if
- You already train, and your stomach, glutes or thighs have not moved with the rest of you
- You are close to the weight you want and you are after shape, not a smaller number
- You are post partum, past a caesarean, or somewhere in the years where the deep core went quiet
- You want a course with an end date instead of one more thing to maintain forever
This is not for you if
- You want weight loss. This builds muscle and the scale will not move
- You are not moving your body at all right now
- You need a result in 2 weeks. The course takes 2 weeks and the result takes another 6
What rules it out
Screening happens at the start of your first appointment. Any of the following stops us there, so message us before you buy if one might be you.
- A cardiac pacemaker or implanted defibrillator
- Any implanted electronic device
- Metal implants, plates, screws or surgical mesh in or near the area
- A copper IUD, if we are treating your abdomen
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Active cancer, or a lesion in the area
A focused electromagnetic field contracts the muscle for you. There is no heat and nothing goes through your skin.
The contraction is involuntary, so the muscle cannot brace against it or quit early the way it does when the decision belongs to you. A voluntary contraction only reaches the layer you can find on purpose. This one goes past it.
Inside one session
- Warm up. A comfortable frequency starts the contractions and lets the muscle find the rhythm.
- Supramaximal. The intensity climbs until the contractions run deeper than voluntary effort reaches. You will feel this part.
- Release. A final frequency loosens the muscle and clears lactic acid, so you go back to your day.
The course
- 4 sessions of 40 minutes
- Twice a week, so all 4 are done inside 2 weeks
- Your tolerance climbs every visit, and that is the clearest sign the muscle is responding
- Photos and measurements at session 1, session 4 and again at week 6, from marked positions
Areas
Abs, glutes or thighs. Each extra area is 20% off and adds 30 minutes to the same appointment. 2 areas puts you in the room for 70 minutes and 3 for 100.
What session 1 feels like
Odd for the first few minutes. You have no control over what your body is doing and that takes some getting used to, so breathe through it instead of bracing against it. Most people tolerate far less in session 1 than in session 4.
Afterwards
Less soreness than you expect, because the last phase of every session clears lactic acid. Mild soreness for a day is still normal. There is no downtime and nothing to plan around.
When the result lands
Your 4 sessions run over 2 weeks. The result arrives around 6 weeks after the last one and keeps building through that window. Working toward a date? Count back 8 weeks. 2 for the course, 6 for the result.
Does it hurt?
It is intense the way a hard workout is intense, except someone else is running this one. If anything crosses over into painful, tell us and we stop.
Do I still have to train and eat well?
Yes. This builds muscle in one area. It does not replace what you eat or how you move, and the women who get the most out of it are already training.
How long does it last?
Muscle responds to use, so without maintenance it fades the same way it fades when you stop going to the gym. Finishing your 4 unlocks a member rate on single sessions, so holding onto it does not mean buying another course.
I had a caesarean. Can I still do this?
Tell us at your first appointment and bring the date. Surgical mesh and hardware rule it out, and recent surgery changes the timing. Plenty of women who have had a caesarean are fine.
Your next step
Buy your course here, then book all 4 appointments in Jane in one go so the twice weekly spacing holds.
When you finish
Finishing the 4 unlocks single sessions at a member rate, for any area you have completed. No monthly billing, no minimum term, nothing to cancel. We give you the rate at your final session and it is yours for as long as you keep using it.
Cancelling and rescheduling
24 hours notice to move an appointment and we will find you another slot that week. Inside 24 hours is a $50 late cancellation. A no show without notice is $100.
Refunds
Services, treatment plans and prepaid series are final sale. Payments are non refundable and non transferable, and packages may not be shared.
If your plan needs to change on clinical grounds, The Glow Lab may issue an internal credit toward alternative services at its discretion. Credits have no cash value, are non transferable, must be used by the original client, and are issued by 1547310 B.C. LTD.
