Your first VISIA Gen 7 Glow Report happens before anything touches your face. It scores you across spots, brown spots, UV damage, redness, texture and pores, and that reading decides whether we’re treating redness or pigment first. Then the Aerolase Neo Elite runs, set to NeoCalm when the vessels lead and NeoCorrect when the pigment does, with blue LED in the same session.
You leave with your 4oz Hale Derma, your $150 credit open, and every one of the 6 dates written down. Skin that has been burned by a treatment before deserves the whole map on day one.

The same laser, the same setting, a second pass, and blue LED again. The Aerolase fires 650 microsecond pulses that pass under surface pigment rather than aiming at melanin, which is the reason Fitzpatrick I through VI all get treated here at the same protocol.
Most people see redness come down after 1 or 2 sessions. Pigment moves on a slower clock and you won’t see much of it yet, which is the honest version and the reason we scan you rather than ask you to judge from a mirror.
2 to 3 weeks sit between your visits. Reactive skin gets the wider end of that, and a rebound costs more time than the gap ever does.
Third laser session, third round of blue LED, and the last visit before a peel goes anywhere near your face.
Britt’s gate is 1 to 3 very superficial treatments plus 2 weeks of home care at Fitzpatrick I to III, or 2 to 4 weeks at IV to VI, before anyone earns a corrective depth. Visits 1, 2 and 3 are that runway. Pigmented skin punishes a shortcut here worse than any other skin does, because inflammation is the thing making the pigment in the first place.

Blue LED first, then the Aerolase, then your first GlyMed peel, all inside the same visit. Rosacea takes the Essential Peptide Perfection Peel. Mandelic acid is the fourth smallest AHA, so it takes its time getting through the skin and provokes a fraction of the reaction glycolic causes at the same percentage. This is the peel we book when your skin is reactive and the acids need to land slowly.
Pigment takes the Essential 30% Glycolic & Lactic Peel once your skin has earned the depth. Lactic acid above 5% blocks tyrosinase, the enzyme building the pigment, which is why that depth belongs in melasma and sun damage work rather than in your first appointment.
60 minute booking. Light shedding for 2 to 3 days, so we put your peel visits at the front of your week.
Aerolase, peel and blue LED again. The peel steps up one depth when your skin answered visit 4, and it stays where it is when your skin didn’t. We tell you which at the visit, with the reason, and the reason comes from your skin rather than from the calendar.
One dial moves per treatment. Layers go up, or contact time goes up, never both in the same session, so we always know what caused a response. On reactive skin that discipline is the difference between fading a patch and setting it deeper.

Why the pigment keeps coming back
It faded. You watched it fade. Then one hot week in July, or one treatment that ran warm, and it came back darker.
Somewhere in that cycle you stopped booking things. A facial left you flushed for 2 days. A laser somewhere else left a shadow that took a season.

The Aerolase Neo Elite goes first, on its own. One laser, 650 microsecond pulses, no numbing, no gel, nothing on your face. NeoCalm is the setting for vessels and redness, NeoCorrect the setting for pigment.
The wavelength passes under surface pigment rather than aiming at melanin. That is what lets Fitzpatrick I through VI get treated here at one protocol.
3 visits. Blue LED runs in every one, and it runs first.
From visit 4 a GlyMed peel joins the laser in one appointment. Rosacea takes Essential Peptide Perfection, mandelic acid and 6 peptides, the protocol cleared for reactive skin. Pigment takes Essential 30% Glycolic & Lactic once the runway is behind it, because lactic acid above 5% blocks the enzyme that builds pigment.
Depth climbs one step at a time. Push a barrier that hasn’t been prepared and you buy inflammation, and inflammation on pigmented skin makes more pigment.

The questions we get most
A laser made my pigment worse before. Why would this one be different?
2 reasons, the wavelength and the pacing. The Aerolase passes under surface pigment rather than targeting melanin, which is why it treats Fitzpatrick I through VI. Then we space it. Your visits sit 2 to 3 weeks apart and yours goes to the longer end when your skin asks for it. Rebound comes from heat and inflammation arriving faster than skin can clear them, so the calendar is doing as much work as the laser.
Is NeoCalm a different machine from the Aerolase?
No. The Aerolase Neo Elite is one laser. NeoCalm, NeoCorrect, NeoSkin and NeoClear are what we call it depending on what it’s treating that day. Your program runs the same laser at all 6 visits and we change the setting as your skin changes, which is how redness and pigment both get handled on one calendar.
Which peel do I get?
Your skin decides at visit 4. Rosacea and reactive skin take the Essential Peptide Perfection Peel, built on mandelic acid and 6 peptides, with the 6 peptides cushioning the acids so they work slowly rather than sharply. Pigment takes the Essential 30% Glycolic & Lactic Peel once the first 3 visits and your home care have earned that depth. It contains hydrolyzed soy protein, almond-derived mandelic acid and shea butter, so tell us about soy or tree nut allergies when you book.
Is this safe for melasma?
Yes, and Calm is the program calibrated for it. We settle the barrier across 3 visits before a peel enters, we climb depth one step at a time, and we move one dial per visit so a reaction always has a known cause. Aggressive resurfacing on unprepared melasma is the thing that makes it worse, and every rule we run exists to keep you away from it.
Why do my visits sit further apart than the Clear Skin Plan™?
Because reactive skin needs the room. Clear runs 2 weeks apart across 12 weeks. Calm runs 2 to 3, which puts your finish anywhere from week 11 to week 16 and closes the program out inside 18. That extra week between visits costs you nothing and it prevents the rebound that costs a season.
Is there downtime?
Visits 1 to 3 have none past a few hours of warmth, and makeup goes back on the same day. From visit 4 you get light shedding for 2 to 3 days as the peel works. We put your peel visits at the front of the week so the shedding lands where you want it.
Will it hurt?
The Aerolase feels like a warm flick. Its pulses last 650 microseconds, which is faster than your nerves register, so there’s no numbing, no gel and nothing resting on your face. Pat Orr, who has sensitive skin, put the pain level at minimal with next to no downtime.
How fast does pigment move?
Redness answers first and most people see it come down after 1 or 2 sessions. Pigment runs on a slower clock and starts shifting in the back half of the program, around the visits where the peel has joined. Anyone promising melasma gone in a month is describing a rebound.
What happens when the program finishes?
You move into maintain, the fourth phase of The Glow Lab Method, and that one lives in The Glow Lab Society. Society Signature runs $249 a month. Your second scan becomes the baseline we hold you against from there, and for pigment that ongoing check is the part that keeps a good result from drifting back.
